Nicole- Patient Coordinator
Position: Nicole welcomes patients and obtains the necessary information to accurately maintain their records. She answers the phone, schedules appointments, and works to keep the office running smoothly.
Nicole says: "I strive to make our patients feel welcome and cared for. Whether it's finding an appointment time that works with your busy schedule or giving help with the coffee machine. I'm here to make sure your visit is a pleasant one."
Favorites: Her favorite people are her family and friends.
Background: A native of upstate New York, Nicole has made her home in Maryland since 1995. She enjoys traveling, trying new adventures, and keeping up with her large family.
Angie- Administrative Dental Assistant

Position: Angie works mainly at the front desk with Nicole. She works diligently to make sure payments are received, claims are filed, and treatment plans are understood. She will work with you to help understand your insurance benefits. You may see her assisting Dr. Murphy or recording periodontal pocket depths for our hygenist from time to time. She is a team player and helps out wherever she can.
Angie says: "I always put myself in the patient's position and how I'd like to be treated as a patient. From the moment they walk in the front door of our office to the moment they leave, I will assist patients in any way I can to make sure they leave here happy!"
Favorites: Her favorite TV show is I Love Lucy.
Background: Angie has been in the dental profession for over 10 years now. She has worked hard to get her certifications and licenses and is very proud to be an Administrative Dental Assistant. She loves spending time working on her new house with her husband and enjoys taking her German shepherd Dugan for walks.
Zene- Dental Assistant

Position: Zene works side-by-side with Dr. Murphy, helping her with various dental procedures, including designing and milling crowns in-house by means of Lakeside's CEREC 3D CAD/CAM system.
Zene says: "My goal is to put patients at ease during their treatment. I will always make that extra effort to ensure that patients are as comfortable as possible during their visits."
Favorites: Her favorite activity is hiking with her family.
Background: Zene is a native of Ethiopia, and is fluent in the Amharic language. She strives every day "to be a better person." She lives with her loving husband and two children.
Robert (Bob) Mauri- Practice Manager and Lakeside Dental Business Partner

Position: Bob works mainly behind the scenes, using his financial skills and administrative experience to ensure that Lakeside functions smoothly and that patients have an exceptional experience. He also takes the lead in keeping Dr. Murphy's patients informed about what is happening in the practice and getting out the word to potential new patients about why they should choose Lakeside Dental and Dr. Murphy for their dental needs.
Bob says: "It has been a thrill to work with my wife Martha to plan this state-of-the-art practice and to open the doors in June of 2007. We are proud of our efforts to provide quality dentistry and great customer service to patients. If we are doing something that pleases you or if we can improve in some area, I want to hear from you. Favorite: His favorite food is Italian sausage made in Buffalo, New York.
Background: Bob is a native of Buffalo. He is a graduate of Columbia University, where he rowed on the lightweight crew. After service in the Peace Corps in the Marshall Islands, Bob held financial positions in a number of federal agencies and in the corporate world. Bob's interests include water gardening, volunteering with the Palisades Bike Patrol on the C & O Canal, hiking, and military history. He also loves trips back to the homeland with Martha and sons Benny and Cody to eat chicken wings and attend Buffalo Bills games. Bob, Dr. Murphy, and the boys live in the Kentlands neighborhood of Gaithersburg.
